TTYL!! TOO BUSY BLOSSOMING 💐

I'm still taking time to process all that God has done in and through me on Saturday at the Takae Talks Blossom in Singleness Brunch...🌸

However, there's a few things I'm absolutely sure about:
• Every Woman is ordained by God to BLOSSOM in purpose — and oftentimes, this purpose has the ability to be greatly cultivated in her single season!
• Maximizing your singleness requires intentionality and sacrifice. Much of the sacrifice aspect includes letting go of "fitting in" with the crowd as they busy themselves with mostly-meaningless relationships and keeping your personal development and intimacy with God as top priorities!
• Whole Women choose whole partners. It's very dangerous to choose a relational or marital partner in your brokenness because you will almost always choose wrong!
• Every Woman needs SISTERHOOD! Having a group of close friends and Sisters in Christ will keep you grounded through vulnerability, accountability and genuine fun!
• Unsubmitted desires ALWAYS lead to idolatry. Submit your desires for marriage, a relationship, love etc. to God and allow Him to fill your void! Repeated submission is better than unchecked idolatry!

I'm humbled in realizing my willingness and availability was enough for God to move and orchestrate His will in the lives of other Women this past weekend. If for nothing else, I pray this inspires you to step out on faith and live in YOUR CALLING! Remember, the World is waiting for the MANIFESTATION OF YOU!!! ✨

For years, I asked the question: how do you enjoy singleness? I mean, it's a season, but one I don't want to stay in, so how could I possibly enjoy it?

I believe I've found great joy in this season, despite my earlier disbelief. There's a time and season for everything under the sun, and the truth is that singleness allows for a freedom that relationships and marriage often forfeit. I don't have to pull away to meet the needs of another person or go home to a form of obligation outside of those I choose. I can simply be. “And don’t be wishing you were someplace else or with someone else. Where you are right now is God’s place for you. Live and obey and love and believe right there. God, not your marital status, defines your life. Don’t think I’m being harder on you than on the others. I give this same counsel in all the churches." — 1 Corinthians 7:17 MSG

You can be content in singleness, even while being expectant of your next season. Your level of satisfaction depends on your wholeness and perspective! Embrace a perspective of contentment rather than loathsomeness — for there's a treasure in this season greatly worth beholding! ✨
